ABOUT
Documentary by John Lubbock, 2015
100 Years Later is a film about the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and the work of historian Ara Sarafian to create reconciliation despite the official denialism of the Turkish state. It is not a film about what word to use for the murder of over 1 million people, but a look at Turkish politics that seeks to answer how reconciliation can be achieved through working with civil society groups. The film was made in April 2015 before the elections and the re-intensification of hostilities between the PKK and the Turkish state.
