Senior front-end developer on the John Lewis & Partners digital estate during a major period of brand and platform change.
The work covered the 2018 John Lewis & Partners rebrand, supporting the visual and technical rollout across a large, high-traffic e-commerce platform with more than 160,000 products. Alongside the rebrand work, I maintained and improved the existing legacy front-end stack while contributing to the development of the newer React-based platform.
The role required careful delivery across overlapping systems, balancing day-to-day commercial stability with longer-term platform modernisation. I worked on reusable interface patterns, front-end implementation, accessibility, maintainability, and consistency across a complex customer-facing retail environment.
The result was a cleaner digital presentation for the new brand identity, delivered without losing continuity across the existing trading platform.
