About John
I am an award-winning and multi-disciplined Creative Director with 10+ years of experience helping some of the world's most loving brands to create innovative and relevant marketing campaigns. I have worked with an array of high-profile clients, including Universal Music, M&S, Wagamama, Converse and many more. Throughout my experience, I have both led and assisted in a variety of projects relating to the design and production of advertising campaigns, choreographing music videos, and generating leading marketing strategies that drive customer engagement and produce tangible results for the P&L. I am a passionate communicator and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer outcomes.
To date, I have held a variety of roles in the creative industry, including Creative Assistant and Movement Director, I have leveraged this experience to become the Creative Director of Saviour Ltd, a company I founded in 2016. In addition to my career, I actively participate in my local community as a Youth Board Member at the Damilola Taylor Trust. I also hold a Bachelor of Art (BA Hons) in Drama and Performance from the University of Portsmouth and a BTEC in Performing Arts from the BRIT School.
Accomplishments:
- Becoming a Youth Board Member at the Damilola Taylor Trust.
- Led a creative team of seven, organised meetings to share ideas and bring action plans to fruition for the company's projects, such as the woman's collection collaboration with Wagamama.
- Offered leadership while liaising with the production director, by briefing all campaign cast, and teaching choreographed step and moves sequences for the M&S Christmas campaign.
- Assisted executive creative director in both the management and development of a team of 70 people, including; production crew, dancers, stylist, hair and makeup.
- Receiving honours by the former British Prime Minister David Cameron for taking an interest in an extraordinary execution at the 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony.
