About me

I am in the final stages of completing my MA Marketing course at London Metropolitan University and am currently working on my dissertation. My modules included International Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Market Research, Marketing Communications, Contemporary Issues in Marketing and Brand Equity.

The focus of my first degree course, Communications Management, was on Marketing Communications, Marketing Strategy and the development of communication concepts and inlcuded a six months work placement in the Marketing Communications department of the DaimlerChrylser Marketing Organisation.

Working as a POP- Coordinator for The Walt Disney Company, I acted as an 'interface' between the product management and the suppliers. I was responsible for managing the complete POP process from briefing the suppliers to controlling distribution of the printed materials for all DVD releases in Germany and Austria; including setting and control of deadlines, approval of artwork and co-ordination of product management, sales department, advertising agencies, design companies and printers. I was also involved in developing new POP promotions and other promotional materials to increase sales on both new releases and catalogue titles. This job role required good organisational and communication skills as well as the ability to deal with tight deadlines, while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
