Hisano Sheperd is a jewelry designer with an immaculate approach. She collects rare pearls filled with personality, and hand-places gemstones within them. For her 2016 catalog, I worked with the metaphor of the oyster to compliment her craft. Delicate colours and gradations imply the insides of an oyster shell, with the page becoming like the oyster itself: being opened and revealing great treasures within.
