When we think of homelessness, we often think of the person on the street. But this christmas, partly due to the pandemic, there are more people than before living out of their cars. They constantly need to move their cars around to comply with different parking restrictions.

Having read a number of Shelters real case studies, we scripted a film based on the many stories we had read. The misdirect for us was key. We wanted the viewer to enjoy meeting this mother and daughter, to relate to them, to even smile with them, before the stark reality of their situation was revealed."
