ABOUT

Concept:
Place X is a human civilization model designed for endless sustainability—even as physical resources continue to decline. But it’s not just about survival. It’s about continuous improvement in quality of life, especially for the world’s least advantaged. The model is rooted in a trickle-up philosophy: elevate from the bottom, rather than waiting for progress to flow from the top.

Approach:
Lasting sustainability starts with better understanding—and that begins with better infocomm (information + communication). Place X doesn’t pretend to define “truth.” Instead, it seeks it through honesty—a universally achievable standard that naturally includes misunderstanding and error.
The model prioritizes building tools that transform how humanity authors, shares, and receives information. It removes narrative control from centralized power structures and gives authorship back to the infocomm consumer. Automated systems generate collective understanding narratives that reflect the diverse voices of many—not the distorted interests of a few.

Execution:
Over three decades in development, Place X brings together hundreds of interwoven innovations into one living, adaptive model. Key systems have been explored through mock-ups and simulations to validate internal alignment and viability. Every element is rooted in a realistic understanding of human behavior and the biosphere’s limits. It’s a model designed not just to function, but to improve—with every honest contributor.

Results:
Co-creation with a like-minded next-generation futurist. A custom GPT built and published to explore the model interactively. Early testing of automated collective understanding tools has delivered highly encouraging results—showing the potential for real-time, bias-free group intelligence.
