ABOUT
Concept:
This project begins with a single fictionalized narrative thread: the personal evolution of a mind—told through a character simply known as 'the alien'. This is not an alien from another planet. This is a human being, physically indistinct from the rest of us. What makes 'the alien' different is not their body, background, or origin, but their mind.
'The alien' is a virtual alien. An outsider in thought. A consciousness that never quite accepted the default beliefs passed down through culture, school, media, or tradition. While others seemed to find comfort in conformity, 'the alien' found friction. From a young age, this mind questioned everything—and quietly observed how belief became the barrier to deeper understanding.
This story is a fictionalized reflection of a real journey. It begins with one version—my version—but it is meant to evolve.
Approach:
This is not a single-threaded narrative. It’s a sandboX-style collaborative framework. Every contributor will explore the same starting concept: the internal journey of 'the alien', but will author their own branch of the story.
Here’s how the approach works:
> Every contributor becomes 'the alien' in their own way. They step into the protagonist's mind, but make the story theirs.
> Inspiration is shared. Authorship is not. You can explore what others are doing, remix elements, or take your version in a totally different direction.
> Nodes will emerge organically. Instead of controlling the structure, we let themes like “First Friction,” “The Great Unlearning,” or “The Belief Heist” surface naturally across versions.
This is about divergence. Each story is a shard of one larger mirror.
Execution:
I’m building the initial story seed—a minimal framework that offers enough clarity to inspire, but enough ambiguity to invite exploration.
The character of 'the alien' is a lens. The first story thread will document its early perception of being different, of misfit cognition, of rejecting assumed truths. It will slowly reveal the internal tensions of living with a mind built to question in a world designed to conform.
This first version will be shared shortly. From there, others are invited to step in and build their story version of 'the alien'. Writers, artists, designers, musicians—everyone can explore this concept in the format of their choice.
Results:
The goal isn’t consensus—it’s evolution.
By allowing many minds to place themselves in the protagonist role of 'the alien', we create an ecosystem of parallel truths. Different voices. Different pasts. Shared questions.
As the project grows:
> Patterns may emerge across stories
> A group voice might surface (or splinter)
> Readers and contributors will discover new ways to confront old beliefs
The first version will go live soon. Until then, if you're intrigued by the idea of becoming 'the alien', reach out. The framework is open—and waiting for your mind to walk in.
Let the divergence begin.
