Mozi is a small start-up product brand run by a family submerged in photography. A Grandfather and grandson partnership. One drawn to the romantic side; the ability to capture and give life to moments, emotions and stories. The other, in awe of its technicality; the dynamism of its mechanics and the boundless opportunities to experiment. The pair unified by their love for the object/instrument.

Reducing their product to the purest analogue form and amplifying quality through pioneering engineering and material meant taking photographers of old back to the beginning and introducing the young to the joy of analogue. Beautiful instruments with timeless silhouettes.
We positioned Mozi as the purveyors of precision photography instruments. The visual identity was crafted to amplify the qualities of reduction, We were inspired by the internal markings of analogue cameras bringing them to the fore. This made for a minimalist and bold visual language that worked nicely in celebrating the product as an object with the identity’s simplicity and versatility affording the design to be used across an extensive range of applications.
