ABOUT

I have attached two pencil illustrations which depict scenes; 1 from a Cornish Blow House and the other being a Dame School. Sticking to strict historical guidelines I tried to capture the dirty, smokey air of cottage industry and poverty stricken children being taught by a teacher (an unmarried woman) from the comforts of her Victorian living room.
