The WW Amazon Advertising Custom team is looking for a talented and passionate Visual Designer with a track record of timely delivery and ownership, to work across complex big brand briefs to deliver innovative design solutions which continuously deliver quality customer experiences. In this role you will provide unique customer solutions through world class visual, UX and UI design, conceptualisation of unique advertising ideas and execute them into visually stunning and effective campaigns that tell stories and drive business performance for the world’s leading brands.

As a Visual Designer you will work in close partnership with Art directors, Design Technologists, Creative Directors and Project Managers, primarily in the UK locale and providing secondary support in the EU wide Custom team. You will produce innovative concepts for user centred advertising experiences spanning within and even beyond Amazon channels, and work on designs ranging from campaign traffic drivers, landing pages (small scale) to world-wide brand deliverables (large scale in partnership with Creative Directors) with schedules ranging from 1 week to 1 year, all with the same attention to excellence. You are a natural story teller with a profound understanding of hands-on design and technology, curious in nature with the ability to dive deep into a brief to create and story tell a new path for customers.

Prior experience in digital studios, advertising agencies or media environment is preferred.

Specific Responsibilities:
· Independently support and collaborate with the UK Custom team and international colleagues to develop best in class, on-brand custom design solutions to build a superior customer and brand experience
· Creating user centred campaign executions by integrating marketing objectives, target audience, creative assets and Amazon own design and patterns into intuitive solutions which have measurable business goals.
· Be an active contributor to creative ideation sessions within your own campaigns and others, leveraging your experience to innovate and push the boundaries of customer experience.
· Team player and self-starter with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines whilst always being customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and driven attitude.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

· A design degree or equivalent professional experience within an agency environment or advertising marketer.
· An online portfolio demonstrating your varied and strong design and storytelling skills, UX/UI experience and innovation across advertising solutions. (Motion/animation experience a bonus)
· Excellent working knowledge of Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator and the full Adobe Creative Suite.
· Proficiency in English is a must, written and verbal
· 5+ years of experience as a Visual designer, or similar UX-UI related role with core advertising campaign experience
· 2+ years of experience working in a collaborative team and experience working directly with developers for implementation of designs a preference.
 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Prototyping and wire framing experience and working knowledge of related tools
· Working in an international results driven environment
· Internal and External Pitching and Ideation experience
· Experience working and aligning across different disciplines
· Ability to understand and decode a brand/customer problem which can be solved by effective customer experience
