MUTV is the official and award-winning TV channel for Manchester United and operates out of offices/studios based within ball kicking distance of  Old Trafford stadium. Our content is far-reaching, from exclusive documentaries, live studio shows and player interviews to the manager's weekly press conference and match analysis.

We’re now looking to bring a new Videographer into the camera team,  responsible for capturing bespoke content for our global fan base with the following reach:

                               YouTube – 2.6 million subs.                                    Instagram – 34.1 million subs.

                               Facebook – 72 million followers.                           MUTV – globally around the world.

We’re looking for a confident camera operator, familiar with a variety of formats – ideally Panasonic P2 together with eithers Sony FS7 / C300 or Panasonic GH5 as a minimum where possible. 

As such, when submitting your CV, please include both a showreel and details of the types of camera formats with which you are confident working. It’s definitely worth including an example of sports content you have shot, particularly ‘following the ball’.

Key responsibilities:

  • Operating cameras on OB’s across U23s, U18s, First team, women’s.
  • Match coverage: filming all domestic and away fixtures across all tournaments.
  • Managing equipment.
  • Single camera filming.
  • Press conference filming.
  • Self-shooting. Possessing the ability to work alone in a high pressured environment.
  • Managing lighting and audio on shoots.
  • Documentary filming.
  • Working with many different camera formats at any given time.
  • Studio camera operation.
  • Ingesting cards.
  • Editing skills are desirable.
  • Full clean driving license imperative due to travel.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Team player - working with many different contributors, crew, opposition clubs.
  • Able to work alone – citing examples.
  • Technical knowledge.
