TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video. Our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. The Creative Lab is TikTok’s in-house creative service, dedicated to producing best in class work on the platform throughout Europe. Based in London, the Creative Lab will help and inspire brands and agencies to push creativity and partnerships on the platform.

We are looking for a creative Video Editor with a proven track record of managing and delivering innovative advertising experiences in digital channels and beyond. You’ll work on a range of deliverables across TikTok formats while collaborating with creative teams to deliver breakthrough original content for leader brands. You’ll conceptualise, write, produce, and edit engaging and highly shareable TikToks.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of how people consume, share, and engage with social video as well as having a strong sense of narrative, storytelling and script writing skills. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment and be comfortable working in teams, and guiding agencies and production partners. This is a unique opportunity to define the way brands show up in the world’s fastest growing digital channel as we build the Creative Lab team from scratch.

Responsibilities:

Edit a high volume of in-house original videos, and create various versions of edits, optimized for different platforms that align with TikTok style guide.

Build video templates and graphic design work that adheres to TikTok brand style guidelines.

Work closely with external creative agencies to help guide concept ideation, production and editing.

Assist in planning, shooting and editing content to be used in paid advertising across digital media channels (Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).

Innovate new ways to repurpose and improve existing creative bank.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to proof-check your own work.

In addition to being a great editor, you must be an all around creative, with an eye for small details and a passion for big ideas.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

4-6 year’s experience within a creative agency, digital agency or production company.
Successful track record of producing and editing content for brands on digital media channels..
Ability to plan, shoot and edit original content.
Ability to overlay music, dialogues, graphics and effects.
Highly creative, organised and able to work independently with little direction.
Great communication skills and a collaborative team player in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment.
Passionate about social media and short video products.
Understanding of today's media landscape and how people engage with advertising.
