Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented an experienced VFX Supervisor and Lead Compositor to join our creative advertising team in New York City. We are looking for an experienced artist, able to work within a highly creative team to deliver high-quality VFX work for our clients.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Compositing projects and teams to integrate multiple elements (live action footage, CG, stock elements etc.) and combine them to create a final image that meets the high standards of MPC.
  • Engage with Directors and Agency creatives from initial meetings through to final delivery.
  • Supervise on-set for all VFX requirements.
  • Assist the Production team in breaking-down, bidding and scheduling projects.
  • Mentor more junior artists to help foster the growth and development of the entire compositing team. 

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with advanced VFX projects in Advertising.
  • Expert proficiency with Nuke. Proficiency with Nuke Studio and Autodesk Flame.
  • Excellent understanding of the techniques & technologies related to CG rendering and compositing. Knowledge of other VFX software like Maya and Houdini is preferred.
  • Client-friendly with Experience in VFX Supervision.
  • Proactive and effective communication skills and the ability to lead projects.
  • A strong creative eye and a problem-solving attitude.
  • Time management skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
