Purpose:

The Group Design Studio is a global Centre of Excellence providing Group and local markets with strategic design guidance with a vision to “design digital experiences our customers love”. We strive for experience excellence using the double diamond design methodology & principles. The team collaborates with product, marketing, technology and design to increase value to both our customers and our business.  
As UX Designer, you are an integral part of our design team and responsible for building digital products. You love solving problems, you are willing to embrace the unknown, and you are able to work cross-functionally in distributed teams. You are part of a dedicated team of specialists committed to producing world-changing products in the technology industry. You share our prioritisation of user centricity and passion for learning and experimenting.
You will be part of a product development squad, responsible for building engaging products. You have experience working in agile teams and driving forward product goals and metrics. You continuously search for improvements to the product and work with your team to implement them. You should be able to deliver end to end customer journeys, low to high fidelity wireframes, sitemaps and prototypes.
 

With us you will do the following:

• Work closely with the UX Design Lead to design high-quality user interfaces and experiences on behalf of Design Studio.
• Responsible for designing experience working with Product Owners and other squad members towards product goals.
• Be the user and design advocate in the squad delivering high quality design solutions.
• Apply user centred and data driven design methodologies to inform the end to end design with requirements, use cases, concept visualisation, prototyping, user research, interaction patterns in the creation of modular design systems.
 

Apply if you have:

• At least 3+ years’ experience in User Experience, at least of these in a commercial product and/or service development environment.
• Able to work effectively in an agile team with cross-functional competencies in a fast-moving environment. Must be able to balance priorities, respond to change and work in a geographically distributed environment.
• Familiar in designing for a wide range of devices and platforms and familiar with current web and mobile standards.
• Must have a user-centric approach to design, incorporating insights from research into the design with ability to bring ideas to life, fully versed in responsive design principles using Sketch and InVision, turning concepts into high-quality wireframes and journeys.
• Good communication skills and the ability to present ideas and concepts to management and stakeholders.
• Candidates must have a degree in design, design management, psychology, human-computer interaction or equivalent and an excellent portfolio to demonstrate their UX design skills.
