Join us as a UX/UI Product Designer:

  • In this influential role, you’ll lead, invent and design compelling and pleasing customer experiences for a range of products, delivered across multiple platforms
  • We’ll look for you to define and extend the UX designs of products, working closely with product owners, researchers, visual designers and development teams
  • You’ll enjoy a varied and extensive breadth of work and you’ll gain valuable exposure across a broad range of stakeholders

What you'll do:

As a UX/UI Product Designer, you’ll be developing high level storyboards, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes to effectively communicate and design ideas for strategic programmes and streams of work. You’ll also use inputs from multiple sources to understand and empathise with customers and colleagues needs, in order to craft effective and innovative customer and user journeys.

Additionally, we’ll want you to be:

  • Participating in content and application audits, including gauging the usability of new and existing products
  • Commissioning, specifying and participating in user research and testing activities to gain insight for informed and user centred design decisions
  • Collaborating with project stakeholders to help understand and define customer value
  • Working with Agile project teams and key stakeholders to develop and own the delivery of user centred solutions
  • Participating in sprint and iteration planning, refinement, retrospectives and iteration reviews

The skills you'll need:

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to hold a portfolio that demonstrates creative and analytical thinking and the delivery of effective UX solutions. We’ll also look for you to have experience in supporting user centred design (UCD) processes and creating materials to support effective user testing and concept communication. What’s more, you’ll have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

You’ll also need:

  • Proven track record within UX/UI Visual Design
  • Experience in designing digital products such as interactive, digital, graphic designer
  • A/B testing experience would be advantageous
  • Experience ensuring all designs are aesthetically excellent and accessibility compliant
  • Track record transforming business requirements, data points and user needs into creative solutions that meet strategic goals
  • Experience in delivering interface designs for use in high performance environments
  • The ability to work with a disciplined UCD approach and present work with the rationale behind it 
  • A background in using a range of interaction design and visualisation tools, such as Azure and Sketch
  • Experience of working with Agile delivery methods and teams
