The Opportunity:

Within BT Enterprise, we take a user-centred and iterative approach to digital product design to ensure the best experiences for our customers across their journeys.

This means we step into the shoes of our customers, to understand how they interact with us digitally and what they expect from our products and services.

The UX/UI Manager will lead the team in user-centered design of strategic digital products and capabilities. With a passion for brand and design fidelity, this leader injects design thinking into process and delivery as well as building and mentoring team talent

Closely collaborating with stakeholders across Enterprise, the UX/UI Manager also cares about aligning interaction, visual, service and production design efforts to reduce friction and improve satisfaction for customer across their journeys.

ExperienceDesign:

What you'll be doing:

• Lead UX/UI design and prototyping for digital products.

• Represent UX/UI in scrum ceremonies.

• Monitor and identify opportunities to optimise experiences across a variety of products and services.

• Provide expertise to design and deliver digital experiences for new and existing products and services.

• Manage, motivate and develop the designers.

• Manage design resource across squad and tribe plans and priorities.

• Work with user research to uncover insights

• Be a brand champion, design experiences that are personal, simple and brilliant.

Who you are:

• Related BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, Visual or UI Design, Information Architecture, Web Programming or comparable experience as a senior design practitioner. 

• Team management

• Stakeholder management

• User research, including undertaking guerrilla testing and briefing UXR specialists.

• Produced written and visual materials suitable for a technical and creative audience.

• Leading UX/UI design team for digital product, e.g. websites, web applications, mobile apps.

• Worked with design systems and pattern libraries. 

• Delivered final, annotated design assets.
