Job Description:

Avast is looking for a Senior User Experience Researcher who can understand the whole complexity of users’ behaviors to help to design the product that is helping people transform their lives for the better and change their behavior and daily routines. 

This new role will help us to understand the mind of users and to design the right interventions to close the intention-action gap.

Job Description:

  • Help the organization adopt a range of methods and processes to support planning, conducting, and synthesis of research activities to inform decision-making on CX strategy and digital design projects throughout the design lifecycle

  • Became Behavioural Psychology/Economics Lead, Spokesperson and Practitioner - proactively discover, explain, and apply insights about human nature and action to explain their behavior

  • Spread behavioral psychology/economics approach in the product teams and UX/UXR community and help to improve our thinking and outputs

  • Plan, research, analyze, and embed research findings in relation to behavioral psychology/economics and support the product teams and other researchers when needed

  • Understanding and advocating for the user across teams, business units, specialisms, etc. We need you to be the voice of the user

  • Understanding the research needs, requirements, and scope of different stakeholders. The voice of the user is usually part of a choir which includes many other voices like product managers, UI designers, marketing professionals, etc.

  • Coaching and delivering training to non-researchers to understand the differences in different research approaches and participating in design research activities to ensure valid conclusions are made

  • Show agility and creativity in integrating design research into the work, simultaneously offering critique and new possibilities based on reasonable constraints.

Requirements:

  • Higher education

  • 3+ years of experience as a user experience researcher in a corporate environment

  • Experience using qualitative research methods to define psychological principles to be applied

  • Experience in the digital industry will be an advantage

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong creative and technical skills

  • Excellent teamworking skills

  • Written and verbal English skills.
