These are exciting times in Experian Decision Analytics as we are executing on a strategic global development programme to improve the UX of our market-leading decisioning products, and deliver them through new platforms. This involves creating and designing digital products and an online experience that puts the customer and end-user at the heart of everything we do. We believe that a superb user experience is a fundamental part of this, and the UI design is fundamental to this experience.
You will join an expanding global design team that operates internationally with stakeholders and B2B clients on our market leading enterprise products. Working at the heart of our product development process, you will drive the overall user experience design, interpreting complex UX challenges into intuitive UI experiences that incorporate and evolve the Experian Design System.
This is a high impact role where you will help support and shape the growth of a department with a wide-reaching and growing influence, working directly with colleagues across the globe in: London, Monaco, Sofia, Kuala Lumpur and the US.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Development teams and Product Management to create high quality and intuitive designs for complex data-driven software applications.
Work through a UX design process to create user journeys, wireframes and high fidelity designs for desktop, responsive web and mobile devices.
Provide sufficiently detailed specifications with the designs to enable a clear understanding for UI developers to code the designs.
Ensure the Experian Design System is applied effectively and consistently to all designs to ensure harmony across the suite of applications.
Design within established product guidelines and contribute designs for new components and patterns where necessary to help evolve the Experian design system.
Understand our products, users and marketplace as well as business and technical constraints as the background to working on product designs.
Share and present designs to internal and external stakeholders.
Work remotely with colleagues and stakeholders in our global offices regularly, with occasional travel to London and the potential for international travel to Experian or client offices.
Actively contribute to a culture where the fair treatment of customers is at the heart of the Experian business. Take personal responsibility to ensure that you adhere to all regulatory requirements and apply appropriate controls in the interests of our customers.
Experience:
Proven experience of UI and UX design experience (preferably in an enterprise software environment).
Expert knowledge of UX/UI best practice, user-centred design principles and usability.
High proficiency in industry standard software such as Sketch, InVision, Photoshop, Balsamiq.
Experience working in an agile environment to create mock-ups, high def designs and technical specifications for developers.
Experience of working with and contributing to Design Systems.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently to understand and translate complex requirements into designs.
Has a demonstrable interest in good visual design, and what this means for both the end user and business.
Good written and verbal skills to communicate design concepts and rationale.
Familiar with agile methodology and iterative design.
Familiarity with producing designs to meet accessibility guidelines and standards.
Ability to code designs into HTML/CSS is desirable.
