William Hill are on an exciting journey; to create a Customer Experience Centre of Excellence, based in the heart of London. You’ll be working as part of a team to help to create and evolve products that provide meaningful experiences for our Customers time and time again.
As a UI Designer, you’ll be working as part of a team responsible for creating and implementing our Pattern Library/ Design Language, responsible for one of the WH product areas (Sports, Gaming or Customer Engagement).
You’ll collaborate with our Development teams, Product Owners and Senior stakeholders across the business to create updates that are on brand and on trend, ensuring the highest quality of delivery into our development teams, and ultimately, to the customer.
You’ll ensure all UI projects for your area are documented and annotated, and are delivered on time, and have met the requirements based on the UXer’s wireframes/prototypes. You’ll keep in regular contact with key stakeholders of any given project to ensure they are up to date with progress.
You’ll be using data and customer testing to validate the designs and make sure they achieve the desired results based on the UXer’s requirements.
We’d love it if you had experience working with and delivering Pattern Libraries but we know this is a fairly new concept, so showing us that you understand the principals behind brand driven design and development ready style guides would be great too.
It goes without saying that you’ll have experience working in a true agile environment, involved in UX and Development Sprints, understanding the value in collaboration.
The role will suit you if you have a solid background in and passion for interface design and enjoy the challenge that new devices bring, along with an understanding of multi-device design principals.
You are tools agnostic, you recognise the strengths and weakness of each and are focussed on delivering quality. That said a working knowledge of the usual suspects; Figma being one of them.
What we offer:
Besides the opportunity to get involved in some pretty cutting edge and complex customer journeys, striving to simplify and demystify betting, you’ll be part of a team where the customer is driving the decisions we make. You’ll get all the usual perks of working for a FTSE250, including healthy bonuses, 15% pensions and a heavily discounted Oyster travel card for zones 1-6.
Our brand new central London office has a vibrant, fun and collaborative start-up feel. We couldn’t be closer to the action. A 2-minute walk from Tottenham Court Road station, round the corner from Soho and Oxford Street means you’ll never be short of anywhere to go for a lunchtime stroll or a post-work drink. There’s plenty of green space too with Regent’s Park and Hyde Park not far away at all.
