JOB PURPOSE:

We’re looking for a passionate Studio Production Manager to join our team and manage our in-house Photostudio. The Studio Production Manager is the driving force to maintain an efficient shoot process and ensure Budgets are managed efficiently. This role will ensure photography assets are delivered on time to the highest standard.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Day-to-day management and coordination of the inhouse photography studio: shoot critical path and calendar. Managing model/HMU, oversee retouching schedule and asset delivery deadlines.
  • Production for all studio shoots including - e-commerce, still life, creative studio and any other additional marketing/social media content where required.
  • Manage the intake and workflow of business samples to be shot.
  • Manage the bookings, schedules, and negotiations of external shoot teams.
  • Work closely with the brand Creative Director and Art Director to establish shoot creative direction and ensure adhered to across all photography assets.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across the business to create the most efficient shoot plan advising them of key dates including asset delivery updates and flagging any risk to delivery.
  • Optimise and help develop the production processes to ensure the team is working as efficiently and as effectively as possible.
  • Budget Management, terms negotiation and forecasting spend to ensure shoots are all within budget. Report monthly costs to the accounts team.
  • Receive and process incoming invoices.
  • Manage regular castings and model approval and sign off.
  • Manage in-house studio equipment and space.
  • Manage shoot documents and trackers for the wider business to follow.
  • Management of in-house studio team with 1 x direct reports; post-production contractor 
  • Ensure sample, shoot and retouch deadlines are being followed and reported to the business.
  • Support the head of marketing on ad-hoc production for the wider editorial campaigns.
  • Regularly audit the website to ensure all photography is of the highest standard.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience managing a fast-paced photography studio within e-commerce.
  • Experience leading an in-house studio team with high volume, high-quality production line environment.
  • Broad skill set including photography content production management, budget management, good numeracy skills.
  • Exceptionally organised and excellent with people and teams.
  • The ability to develop clear briefs and translate them into creative communications, great attention to detail and excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Knowledge of fashion and photography trends
  • A ‘can do’ attitude, positive spirit, a great team player with a willingness to roll up sleeves and make a dynamic contribution to a small but busy team
