Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
We are currently looking for an experienced Software Engineer Backend (Java, Spring Boot) to join our team of engineers in Zaragoza. As a member of our team you will be part of the life cycle of different global projects using the best development practices and tools at scale for adidas sites around the world, for a variety of purposes, such as engaging with our customers to deliver the highest possible value for them.
Because of its customer centric and quality focused view, as a Software Engineer you will be responsible to provide the best possible customer experience.
This customer serving view is a vital activity for all product teams within Digital IT. You will be in charge to make each developed product to enlighten our customers with the best possible consumer journey as well as by providing innovative ways of engaging with them. Part of your tasks will include implementing and delivering world class solutions and tackle the toughest engineering challenges while focusing on the customer, quality and time to market.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Java8 development experience.
- Microservices experience.
- Docker and Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
- English language (fluent).
- Problem solver.
Education and Experience Required:
- University degree in computer science or similar education.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience with focus on Information Technology or related area.IT skills: Java 8, Spring and Boot.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Availability to travel 10% of your working time.
