Vogue Business is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Social and Communities Manager. The Social and Communities Manager will create and deliver the social media strategy to significantly increase brand awareness, supercharge the growth of our online communities, drive traffic to Vogue Business and grow subscriptions.

 

Vogue Business is part of the Business Development team at Condé Nast - a busy, growing and cross-functional department with ambitious goals. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

The successful applicant for this role will be at the core of the Vogue Business growth journey. You will be working closely with a highly experienced and dynamic team to:

 

  • Define and execute the social media editorial strategy for Vogue Business channels.

  • Write, create and co-ordinate daily social media posting and the scheduling calendar.

  • Own customer awareness, referral and engagement targets for social across all relevant channels.

  • Shape the voice for Vogue Business’s professional audience across all social media platforms.

  • Create engagement and ensure comments and messages from the Vogue Business online community are being answered.

  • Work with Vogue Business editors to share their voices across channels and providing them with best practice guidelines. 

  • Work closely with the design team to create a strong and impactful visual identity across all social channels.

  • Work with the paid media and marketing team to ensure alignment and drive acquisition across Vogue Business’s online channels.

  • Work with user research to align audience needs with social media strategy.

  • Track data, performance and optimisation across social media channels as well as taking charge of reporting this performance against OKRs.

  • Regularly update and communicate performance to key stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities to develop partnerships for growth initiatives that increase awareness and drive traffic to the Vogue Business site.
     

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • A highly capable copywriter with creative and thorough writing skills.

  • Experience in a similar role and working in B2B publishing or trade media.

  • Strong knowledge of fashion, luxury, beauty and media industries and a proven eye for a business story in these sectors.

  • Experience creating and executing a multi-channel social media strategy with proven results in B2B publishing and media.

  • Experience in growing a social media base and/or growing and scaling a professional community. 

  • Experience in analysis, optimisation and reporting on social performance. 

  • Being proactive and reactive on what’s working and what’s not with a test and learn approach. 

  • The ability to work cross-functionally with editors, UX and marketing within the Vogue Business team.

  • Resourceful and problem solving oriented. 

  • Good sense of visuals and the ability to guide and work collaboratively with designers. 

  • Data literate. 

  • Passionate about communities and social media trends. 

  • Strong understanding of the needs of senior industry professionals.

  • International experience and proficiency in another language is a plus. 

  • Be extremely organised and enthusiastic.

  • Experience with OKRs, hypothesis-led testing and user research is desirable.

  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing techniques and awareness of the digital arena is desirable.
