Social Media Specialist - Gaming & Sport

Then you’re looking at the right job spec…The Social Media Specialist role is an executive level position in the marketing department at Red Bull UK which comes with real responsibility, accountability and the autonomy to create, impact and nurture Red Bull’s Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitch channels in the UK and have a global impact at the same time.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
Be one of the key sources of creativity in the business - always coming up with new ideas, thoughts and thinking outside of the box touching points with all teams in the marketing department and also the sales teams.
Be part of knowledge sharing sessions, ideate on content, pre-plan production and make the unthinkable a possibility.
Look for opportunities to spread Red Bull’s message into new areas (platforms, communities etc).
and work with the wider Social Media team on ideas to achieve wider team goals.
Actively seek out innovations to help achieve world firsts in social media and digital marketing.
- Content Creation:
Create content to be published across social channels to create native engagement, push to other parts of our media network and support marketing initiatives such as events, athlete/artist support and brand campaigns.
Help develop and ideate new social media formats and content ideas.
Search for existing content which can be used across our channels.
Work with respective Audience Editors to ensure that posting schedule strategies exist and are executed across all designated verticals and channels.
Help the wider Audience Development and Programming (AD&P) team to improve posting on social and achieve better results supported with paid.
- Analytics and Insights:
Drive the data agenda for social media, through tools and marketing initiatives.
Track and report on performance, and continually optimise strategy and delivery.
Develop testing strategies to support new insights, recommendations and optimisations.
Demonstrate social media ROI to ensure on-going investment and integration into all business plan.
