Social is at the heart of giffgaff. Given the 1-1 relationship giffgaff has with its members, Social plays a vital role in giffgaff’s business model and strategic approach.
Creatively, our goal is to build campaigns that prioritize earned media and social conversation. Brand marketing campaigns and strategies are developed in-house, without the traditional advertising agency model. You will need to be creative, organised, have impeccable taste and be aware of social trends.
Our social channels are always on, and you will work closely with the Head of Social and wider team to manage the delivery of the Social arm of key Brand activity, such as; high-profile Multichannel Brand Campaigns, TV sponsorship, PR/Social activity, Content programmes, Editorial content and much more, across both Paid and Owned.
Our editorial and content strategies are underpinned by audience insight and trends identified through social listening and you will be responsible for developing and executing these strategies.
All in all, you are a positive and active person, who leans into every challenge, every campaign, every day. You’re positively disruptive, you constructively challenge, you inspire, deliver and collaborate.
· Manage campaign delivery across key channels, from idea to execution and reporting
· Creative involvement with the planning and production of all marketing campaigns, creating
bespoke social media strategies to deliver against the objectives of wider campaign
·Developing and maintaining relationships with key Social Media Channels, Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, Google, and Snapchat
·Development and Growth of giffgaff's editorial calendar across the business, including overseeing the creation and delivery of compelling, daily social media content, at the pulse of giffgaff's brand messaging
· Management and tracking of campaign performance and BAU activity against KPIs
· Briefing external agencies for social media assets and media buying
Skills & experience:
· Strong experience managing engagement and contributing to creative development on all social channels
· Experience managing the strategic and editorial relationships with partnerships such as content producers and external agencies
·Experience coordinating the scheduling and publishing of content across all channels
· Must be analytical with strong reporting and metrics experience to see and understand how the posts are doing
· Must have experience managing the professional development and performance of direct reports (currently one - Junior Social Media Manager)
·Must be able to oversee all external partnerships, editorials and campaign briefings
· Content focused experience and must be able to have a strategic understanding
