Social Media Executive
Producing innovative social-first content and amplifying it to the right people with effective targeting is a strategic priority for the Crystal Ski Holidays & TUI Lakes & Mountains social media team. Our Social Media Executive will be responsible for the ongoing delivery of our social media content activity to a high quality, including producing daily content, managing social campaigns and community management.
You’ll use your social marketing knowledge to ensure our Ski, Lakes & Mountains social media activity follows best practice formats, targets the right message to the right person at the right time and is planned in response to performance feedback on previous campaigns to hit our core KPIs. As well as the role's focus on social campaigns, it’s also heavily re-active too.
The role will involve working with teams across the business from brand, PR and the other marketing channels, to content, the Overseas teams and the Customer Service team.
What you will be doing:
As Social Media Executive you’ll be working across a number of channels to support Crystal Ski Holidays and TUI Lakes & Mountains. You’ll be working on our social campaigns – from taking the initial brief and coming up with ideas through to creating and delivering high quality content across our different platforms. Alongside producing the daily content for our social channels, you’ll be assisting with the editing and management of the Ski-Buzz blog.
A proactive member of the Marketing team, you’ll be building relationships with key areas of the business and external suppliers in order to deliver all campaigns. Working with social media influencers you’ll help engagement with a wider audience. And working with the Partnerships team you’ll be creating impactful content about different ski areas and holiday destinations.
Confident in community management, you’re committed to responding to engagement. We’ll be looking to you as our Social Media Executive to assist the in-house Digital Response team – helping them with responses to difficult customers and complaint handling on social media. You’ll also be providing support and advice to the business for social communications in response to any major incidents. And as social media is central to the operations of Crystal this role will occasionally include out of hours work on various departure weekends, as a minimum through the months of December to April.
What we are looking for:
- Some experience of social media, producing content and/or community management.
- Some knowledge of social metrics from a performance point of view.
- Good creative and copywriting skills.
- Organised individual who’s able to manage their own workload.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexible, can do attitude, self-motivated and a problem-solver.
- A passion for social media professionally and personally.
- Travel industry experience and/or a passion for skiing is a plus.
