The Social Media Executive will be responsible for supporting the Social Media Manager in overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the Harvey Nichols social media channels.

This role will be working across all the Social Media activity for the group ensuring that Harvey Nichols has authority in fashion, beauty and lifestyle on social media. The role will be accountable for all our social media channels, which include Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, Pinterest, Instagram and other emerging platforms. 
 

What you'll be doing: 

  • Working with the Social Media team to deliver our social media strategy that will clearly outline what social media channels we have (and why) as well as our approach to each of these channels in a way that is unique and differentiated in the market.
  • Work closely with the Editorial team to ensure we are distributing content on our social media channels that is aligned with our brand vision and has the HN authority.
  • Work closely with the Editorial team to ensure the right content and messaging is executed on the most relevant social media channel at the right time so that it delivers the brand story to the right audience.
  • Ensure we are creating engaging conversations across our range of social media channels.
  • Engaging and responding to customer questions/queries whilst working closely with the customer service centre.
  • Responsible for the day to day calendar management, planning and scheduling of posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and others.
  • Set and monitor KPIs for measuring the success. Use monthly reporting to deliver results to the business across all social channels.
  • Ensure that key products and brand stories are communicated by liaising with all the relevant departments such as buying, online and editorial.

A bit about your experience: 

  • Bachelor Degree: Marketing, PR, Journalism or related (or equivalent experience).
  • Related Marketing, Digital, Social Media experience with demonstrated success in the role(s) working for either a brand or an agency.
  • Experience in social media community management.
  • Excellent knowledge of local social media landscape.
  • Experience of using social listening tools.   
  • Luxury experience desirable.
