The Role...

You'll have the responsibility for the creative production requirements of Betfair's Social Media & Content Team UK & Ire division on a daily basis. You will support in the development of creative sport content and be involved in the ideation and distribution process.

You'll cater for the social production needs on a daily basis. Stakeholder relationships with external and internal design and production studios, commercial stakeholders and central digital channel owners will also be key.

We require executional excellence, creativity, a strong attention to detail and the need to live and breathe social media and sport. You will need to be proactive with new and emerging platforms, formats and updates on social and encourage first use where appropriate.

Production experience is a must for this role, understanding the production process for multimedia assets including static content, video and audio.  

You must have knowledge of what prospective and active customers want from their Betfair content and social media channels.

And an ability to provide insight into emerging platforms, trends or behaviours and incorporate that into content.

This role is focussed on live sport, so weekend work & international travel is likely to be required.  

What you'll be doing...

  • Plan and manage start-to-end creative and production requirements for Betfair's Social Media & Online Editorial platforms.
  • Use your sport and industry knowledge to concept & plan high-quality, engaging content with the Social & Content Manager that aligns with the social media strategy and tone of voice.
  • Manage relationships & workflows with internal production teams and external agencies. Ensuring content is delivered to a high standard that reflects the Betfair brand & meets all key stakeholder requirements.
  • Ensure social production needs are created to a high standard, optimised for social performance and in line with the Betfair social strategy.
  • Play a key role in the production, development and growth of our stable of podcasts and the subsequent video content.
  • Create digital design templates for our key brands messaging, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Assist the wider business in design and production needs where necessary.

What we're looking for...

  • Qualification in multimedia, digital design, graphic design or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar production, social media or multimedia environment
  • A passion, understanding and experience of the social media content needs across major platforms
  • Passionate about sport and knowledge of the industry
  • Ability to build processes for the delivery of the creative needs, maintaining and stay on top of several ongoing projects at once.
  • Design experience with Adobe Creative Suite is essential e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The capacity to work under pressure, on your own and to daily deadlines
  • Experience ideating visual and concepting social bespoke creative/video content
  • Experience with podcasts would be an advantage as would knowledge and experience of sports betting
  • Ability to work weekends when required
