The Ticketmaster Marketing team drives customer engagement via our Content, CRM and Performance Marketing channels, creating campaigns to retain existing fans, acquire new fans and ultimately drive sales.


The role of the Social Media Apprentice is to support the output and strategy of Ticketmaster’s social media channels. You will be assisting and working alongside the Social Media Editor to help pitch, create, edit and schedule a wide variety of content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and Threads.

The ideal candidate will be creative, full of ideas and passionate about social media and live entertainment music, theatre, comedy, events and more. You’ll be comfortable working with team members and collaborating with your content ideas, you keep on top of the latest trends are forward-thinking and like to be ahead of the curve when it comes to digital media.

You will be enrolled on an Apprenticeship Level 4, Marketing Executive.

Ticketmaster UK is part of Live Nation Entertainment, the largest live entertainment company in the world, consisting of five businesses: concert promotion and venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing solutions, e-commerce and artist management. Live Nation seeks to innovate and enhance the live entertainment experience for artists and fans: before, during and after the show. Live Nation Entertainment incorporates various high-profile brands including Ticketmaster, Academy Music Group (AMG) and Live Nation Music.


  • Working with the Social Media Editor to assist with a new social media strategy that promotes Ticketmaster and its events while engaging followers and growing our audience.
  • Coming up with and creating assets for multiple platforms, writing social copy and scheduling posts across all of Ticketmaster’s customer-facing channels
  • Attending events, press days and interviews to capture content for Ticketmaster’s social channels.
  • Working with the wider marketing team to assist in creative social-first solutions for brand campaigns (this includes Concerts & Tours, Theatre, Comedy, Days Out and Sport).


  • A passion for social media and creating content and proven experience running social media platforms.
  • Able to write and edit copy quickly and accurately while adapting to brand tone of voice.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office software packages to a competent standard.
  • Experience with graphics and video editing software: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Canva etc.
