The role:

We are looking for an extremely talented film maker to join our team in Manchester as a Senior Videographer and Editor for a six month fixed term contract. Reporting into the Head of Production you’ll be responsible for creating friendly, energetic, full of beans content that will entertain and delight on our social channels. You will develop fully realised film concepts from briefs and craft them into purposeful and bright videos that engage and entertain.

What you will be doing:

  • Shooting, directing, and editing great looking content
  • Nurture new talent within the team
  • Based in Manchester office you will shoot both in studios and on location including our sites across the UK
  • Work closely with our creative, production, brand, trade and marketing teams
  • Attending briefs and creative sessions as required to add value to the process
  • Create creative treatments and decks
  • Help sense check feasibility of concepts with production

Skills & Experience:

  • An experienced and passionate film maker who is creatively driven
  • A passion for creating dynamic, engaging, relevant content
  • Experience of directing, shooting and editing
  • Excellent working knowledge of camera, sound and lighting equipment
  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere CC in conjunction with other Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) a bonus
  • Knowledge of sound recording, audio editing and mixing a bonus
  • Copywriting skills would be a bonus

You’re already a camera expert, always checking out the latest camera tech and accessories and driven to finding new and innovative filming techniques which bring an undeniable polish to your films.

Within your skillset you are also an excellent editor able to shape, mould and craft any story instinctively from multi camera run and gun footage and with an ear for music that lifts, enhances and completes the film.

You have bags of energy and lots of creative ideas that you will use as you work alongside our creatives and producers to help us in our mission to raise the bar of our creative content.
 

Responsibilities:

· Shoot, direct and create video and film content

· Have a creative overview and influence over the creative output

· Ability to constantly deliver high quality work, sometimes with restricted budget

· Creation of brand films, behind the scenes videos, event filming, pitch and internal films

· Able to travel to shoot locations at short notice across the UK and potentially overseas.
