Senior Video Editors at ASOS are the highly organised leadership figures, who have an eye for fashion, photography and seamless operations. As one of our Seniors, you will be working closely with the Leads, Team Leaders, Management and wider senior teams. You will support department efficiency, whilst thinking commercially and innovatively to deliver the best e-commerce assets in the industry for our 20 something customer. You have the ability to successfully support a team with a creative, strategic and operational mindset.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Reporting directly into the Video Team Leader, you will be responsible for contributing to the day-to-day running of the Video team. This will primarily include product page enrichment of 1000+ products per day
  • Ensuring budget, cost per product, creative quality and volumetric KPIs are adhered to
  • Proven solid understanding of E- commerce Video capturing and editing processes
  • Exceptional multitasking ability with outstanding organisational skills; able to use initiative and to work in pressurised environment
  • Detailed working with Premier Pro and Mac, with ability to support teams with technical difficulties covering editing, file management, colour grading, exporting, final quality control, uploading to file and camera function when required
  • Ensure videos are edited to the highest standard possible so customers gain as much information from the clip as they can
  • Lead by example and ensure quality checking across the team with each edit filmed, ensuring maximum attention to detail to guarantee the product is shown in the most optimum way with nothing disrupting the quality of the clip
  • Be recognised as an aspirational figure within your team and the wider department
  • Show excellent problem-solving abilities and positive, dynamic response to change
  • Work closely with Team Leader, Photography and Styling teams to help support the video creative development
  • Be required to step-in to film creative video projects if required
  • Constantly strive to develop all areas of WW video with Team Leader from quality to efficiency, ensuring remains the leader in online imagery/video
  • The ability to work quickly and efficiently with a strong eye for detail and catching errors
  • Collaborating with the Team Leader to identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency
  • Contribute to the succession planning and upskilling of your team with your Team Leader
  • Encouraging team growth and development through contribution in group and 1-2-1 training, ensuring the team are striving to support in the delivery of the department strategy
  • Contributing to team and departmental meetings when required
  • Supporting the team in following established processes to deliver agreed creative and quality standards in line with departmental strategy
  •    Working with the Team Leader to support the training and development of new full-timers. Simultaneously help support a high-quality freelance team output with the Team Leader to assist the team when volume requires
  • Support Team Leader when required with deployment of fulltime and freelance team resource to optimise the collective team skill set including support of the day to day management in response to absence
  • Encouraging the team to be authentic, brave and creative and to follow all company and departmental strategies, leading by example
  • Developing and implementing your leadership style and communication alongside your Team Leader, in line with ASOS Behaviours policy
  • Working closely with other Seniors, Team Leaders, Leads and Management team to successfully deliver the department strategy. Build strong, professional and collaborative relationships with the wider studio team to support shoot-to-post process and strategy
  •    Demonstrating excellent brand awareness by identifying areas for review, researching ideas and assessing competition when required to ensure we are market leaders
  •    Support and champion new workflow solutions to streamline departmental practices and processes
  •    Contribute to departmental technology software and hardware launches when required
  •    Delivering projects to support the department strategy and any other adhoc tasks defined by the Video Team Leader and Post Production Manager
