The AI Applications Design team is looking an innovative, self-motivated, inspired Senior User Experience Designer to join our highly skilled team. This role requires a leader capable of driving the design of numerous projects and agile sprints. Fostering a team culture of transparent collaboration, where brilliant ideas are delivered quickly for feedback is critical to this role. 

The candidate must be flexible, thrive in ambiguity and effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams. The best candidate will have a proven record of delivering irresistible solutions that address our customers’ most challenging business problems and opportunities.

  • Design - Translate research into outstanding user experiences, stewarding design from concept to final code. Creation of key UX artifacts such as concept maps, storyboards, taxonomies, prototypes, pattern libraries, information architecture, workflows and design specifications.
  • Shape the strategy - Set high-level design goals to ensure a consistent and engaging experience. Analyze complexity, simplify workflows and identify the right problems to solve.
  • Drive alignment - Collaborate with designers, developers, marketers and product managers to drive a shared understanding of user’s needs and behaviors.
  • Communicate - Develop and playback interaction concepts to the larger team and be able to clearly defend design choices. Employ prototypes at different fidelities to communicate design intent throughout delivery.
  • Manage the day to day - Break down and prioritize design projects into tasks for a multi-skilled design team, using agile methodologies. Rally a team towards the completion of a goal through roadmaps, deadlines, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Mentor and critique - Review designs of the multi-skilled design team, improving the work while growing the designers.
  • Advocate - Facilitate Enterprise Design Thinking in everyday work, internal workshops and client meetings to advocate for human-centered design.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • 6+ years’ work experience as a user experience designer.
  • Applicant will need to provide a portfolio of work that displays a proven track record of delightful human-centered designs and a passion for your craft.
  • Proven ability delivering exceptional user-centered outcomes to market.
  • Strong enterprise UX skills and an applied understanding of UX principles.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and mentoring design team members.
  • Comfort working in complex domain spaces.
  • Substantial experience using agile principles towards the delivery of product.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of design tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, Sketch, etc.
  • Understanding of modern design thinking and design trends (including responsiveness and accessibility).
  • An appreciation for detail - every pixel, interaction, and word is important!

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Strong supporting skills in either design research or visual design.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills.
