At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. Once we can safely travel, you may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

Join our team…

Join our global design team as a Senior UX/UI designer (m/f/d) and take a prominent role in shaping the customer-first future for a multi-brand e-commerce platform. You will be working across core systems to deliver industry-leading user experience and visual design for several brands, including 123 Reg and Host Europe.

Our e-commerce platform has been built in-house from the ground up to consolidate technology and improve usability and accessibility across all customer touchpoints. You will be shaping key user experience flows for this platform, through the considered application of our robust multi-brand design system and guiding principles. The role will see you working across a range of projects and helping to craft significant experiences for our customers.

What you’ll get to do...

  • Proactively identifying areas of improvement, concepting potential approaches and work-shopping ideas with team members and partners alike
  • Providing mentorship and assistance for other design teams within the organisation, as well as our own
  • Crafting prototypes and carrying out usability testing to provide insight and evidence for your approach
  • Evolving and documenting new and existing elements of applications and our design system

Your experience should include...

  • You do have proven experiences, e-commerce in particular
  • You are confident with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator and Photoshop
  • You can demonstrate outstanding attention to detail and visual design of the highest quality throughout all phases of a project and are confident to articulate decisions
  • You will have a spectacular portfolio showcasing interaction and user-centred visual design excellence, and examples of where you have taken a leading role on research initiatives to advise design
  • You are a proactive and enthusiastic person who can deliver intuitive, engaging, and appealing designs across responsive breakpoints and can demonstrate a solid understanding of UX best practices
  • You can communicate the value and functionality in design, and you thrive on taking ownership of initiatives with little oversight and with many stakeholders
  • You will have great communication skills, both verbal and written and experience supporting and coaching members of the team with practical advice and guidance
  • You will have a logical and proficient approach to your work, thinking laterally to provide solutions that meet the business needs of the brands while maintaining design integrity
  • You will enjoy working on evolving products from MVP upwards, being happy to revisit work as projects evolve, responding to feedback from our brands, technical considerations, and suchlike

You might also have…

  • Knowledge in Jira or a similar workload prioritisation tool
  • Coding skills are an advantage, e.g. HTML5, CSS, JS
  • Skills in motion graphics

We’ve got your back...

  • A permanent employment contract
  • A secure job in a rapidly growing, international company with a motivating and positive atmosphere
  • Varied and exciting challenges
  • Great opportunity for advancement within the company across a variety of roles
  • Flat hierarchies and direct communication
  • Regular (virtual) events
