R/GA is looking for a strong senior strategist to lead the day to day across one of our biggest global FMCG clients, as well as additional opportunities to work across a global tech/mobility client for the EMEA region. This person will work under and be supported by the strategy director across the business, but will be the point person in the day to day leading the business with clients, in partnership with the account, production and creative leads, along with additional strategists (connections, analysts) as needed for project work. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience at the senior level who is hungry for an opportunity to step up and show that they can lead an important piece of business to take the next step in their career. 

Our strategists are passionate about inspiring work that is culturally impactful, commercially effective and innovative in the way it allows people to experience brands in new ways through technology. They love going down rabbit holes to dig through business, brand and/or audience data, have their finger on the pulse of culture, and can translate it all into simple, compelling presentations that tell stories and provide recommendations that contribute to the strategic direction of client work.

The ideal person is:

  • Experienced in brand and comms planning.
  • Familiar with and/or is hungry to flex their skills to inspire and craft best in class digital, innovation and social creative work across a brand’s ecosystem.
  • Skilled in crafting concise, compelling strategic presentations that clearly define the problem facing the brand, the truth that unlocks it, and the (experience, digital, social and/or innovation) opportunity that they must seize to solve the problem.
  • Equipped to develop strong client relationships - they can articulate a strategic point of view on a problem, and defend strategic thinking to day to day clients.
  • Proactive in identifying and uncovering incremental opportunities in business/brand data, cultural insights, etc to bring new value to the business.
  • Experienced in defining how a brand’s purpose can to life across touchpoints.
  • Energized by reducing complexity for clients and agency teams alike - can dig through data and a variety of inputs from clients and agency teams and define a clear path forward.
  • Resilient, and unafraid of getting stuck into a problem and coming back to it to work out the best approach to getting to great work.
  • Has experience working collaboratively an IAT agency structure.
