General Description

You will be a member of Samsung’s Intelligence Service group, helping to drive innovation and creative solutions for service providers. As an individual contributor, you will be expected to rely on your many years of experience in Software Development to help shape future solutions from Samsung. Leaning heavily on your technical programming and development skills, you’ll work closely with service providers and their customers to develop truly empathic products & solutions. The role involves, but is not limited to, the following: • Creating applications that run in the cloud; • Modelling real world scenarios and problems with our own modelling language; • Co-working with UX designers and PM (planning) in agile fashion to create user experience from scratch; • Developing mobile applications

Necessary Skills / Attributes

• Degree qualified in Software Engineering, Computer science or similar; • Excellent understanding of networking (building connected applications); • Excellent understanding of object oriented design and design patterns (e.g. SOLID); • Full stack UI/UX design and development experience e.g. node.js, ReactJS, Bootstrap; • Use of JavaScript and at least one current JavaScript framework in a commercial setting • Experience with creating app business logic with JavaScript • Ability to express mobile app UX in HTML and CSS3 • Experience in a variety of development languages including such as Go, Python, C, JavaScript and Java • High disciplined approach to version control (Git, Stash, SVN or equivalent) • Knowledge of Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.) • Developed (or contributed to the development) of at least one mobile application that is publically available through a mobile application store. • Commercial experience (you are or have been a professional software developer) • Worked within a genuinely agile development environment
