We are looking for an experienced Senior Social Media Data Analyst for a 12-month maternity leave contract, to help us turn social conversation, engagement, and performance into actionable insights for our clients. You will be someone who combines a passion for the complexities of data with the ability to surface interesting and pertinent insights and tell a good story. You will be tasked with creating reports, highlighting insights and presenting recommendations back to clients, as well as proactively contributing to the promotion of this pillar of work with new and existing clients, and within the wider agency environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead on social analytics, social listening, insights and reporting across key agency accounts, such as Barratt Homes, Danone and Ferrero.
  • Line manage one direct report.
  • Work across different teams within the agency to identify and maximise on opportunities for insight-led activity.

Requirements:

Skills & qualities:

  • Social listening and analysis tools - deep working knowledge of social listening tools (such as Meltwater and Netbase Quid), and social media and CX reporting tools (such as Socialbakers, Khoros and Sprinklr).
  • Data analysis - confident with manipulating and visualising data from different sources and a good knowledge of the metrics used across social and CX.
  • Reporting tools - proficient working in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to create dashboards, reports and presentations. Knowledge of Power BI not necessary but an advantage.
  • Digital marketing trends - up-to-date with the latest social/CX developments and confidence in making social strategy recommendations.
  • Proactivity - motivated, able to demonstrate good initiative.
  • Communication - excellent verbal and written communication skills to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Presentation - client facing with confident presentation skills.
  • Accuracy - excellent attention to detail at all times.
  • Efficacy - well organised with excellent task & time management, capable of managing multiple tasks.

Experience:

  • Strong experience in a similar social media data analyst role, preferably with both a social performance and CX focus.
  • Must have experience of social listening, social media management and community management tools.
  • Experience working for large global brands.
  • Line management experience would be advantageous.
