We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing executive or internal communications executive to join our Paddington office. This role is pivotal in driving the Mars Pet Nutrition culture and business forward, ensuring all Associates have the right information at the right time.

The successful candidate will support the implementation and successful adoption of a communication strategy within Pet Nutrition and in support of Mars Petcare. This is a fantastic chance to work closely with our Support Strategic Business Communications Lead to drive Associate engagement, alignment, advocacy, and understanding of Pet Nutrition’s global strategy.

  • Experience working as a marketing executive, business development executive, internal communications executive or similar in a large business.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • The ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Project management skills.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
  • Provide guidance, expertise, support, and supervision of strategic business communications, leading a team of communications professionals to facilitate best in class communications including change management, corporate and senior leadership communications.
  • Collaborate with executives to support effective two-way associate communication, building a strong internal culture, driving practice results, supporting associate engagement, and building reputation.
  • Act as part of a cross-functional team to drive associate engagement via digital media. Plan and collaborate execution of national campaigns and awareness drives on key business priorities.
  • Create integrated communications campaigns looking across internal and external channels to drive deeper awareness and breakthrough narratives.
  • In partnership with the Corporate Affairs leader, provide guidance and support for senior leadership communications.
  • Transform internal communications to orient around practice priorities vs. in-take of requests. Help to automate communications requests to ensure team is focused on strategic priorities.
  • Provide efficient and accurate materials through document management efforts to minimize practice risk and improve hospital effectiveness.
