The opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Data Planner/Strategist to join our team and contribute to the development of highly-personalised campaigns, optimising the usage of data assets to drive customer insight. It’s about being creative with data to answer business problems in a practical way, that our clients can understand and then work with us to help grow their business. You’ll be working closely with our team of data scientists and analysts, campaign developers and CX strategists providing recommendations on methods to drive the most out of our client's data.

This is a great opportunity for an inquisitive and commercially minded professional to harness and develop their analytical and strategic skills in an agile team as part of a global agency network. It’s not about working on similar briefs for the one client using the same datasets. Instead, you’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of sectors with major brands like Samsung, Suzuki, Pampers and Barclays. 

The Data team at Iris is part of the newly formed Data Driven Futures department, providing our clients with end-to-end capabilities across customer experience, data activation, pricing, performance management and tech strategy.

What we're looking for?

  • Someone with proven experience within a data/analytics/insight role.
  • Prior experience within CRM/targeted communications and broader strategic customer analytics projects.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe Campaign Manager, Contentsquare, Digimind is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and broader technical understanding, with the ability to identify new opportunities where data & analytics can enhance campaigns and inform broader strategies.
  • In-depth understanding of campaign performance analytics, customer profiling and segmentation, measurement frameworks and test & learn.
  • Ability to conduct data maturity assessments, and experience developing roadmap of solutions for data transformation.
  • Highly numerate and data literate, with experience working alongside data specialists including analysts and data scientists.
  • Experience developing analytical briefs is preferred.
  • Experience working with Campaign Developers, broader CX Strategists is preferred.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities within existing clients through drawing upon experience, identifying trends and insights both within client’s data and broader market knowledge.
  • Proven track record of orchestrating change through translating data into meaning with strong storytelling abilities.
  • Experience working across multi-discipline teams and with strong stakeholder management expertise, both internally and externally.
  • Someone who is at ease being in front of clients both in shaping and identifying opportunities and presenting complex data outputs.
  • An inquisitive mind and a pragmatic problem solver, ability to capture client requirements and convert into recommendations.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit who seeks to take on responsibility.
  • Proactive self-starter who can take ownership of workstreams and projects.
  • Someone who makes work fun and works hard for their own personal development and the success of the organisation.
