The Role:

Concept creation, strategy and campaign ideation are at the heart of this creative role.

You’ll be a key player in creatively translating our client’s offerings into clear, impactful messages, so experience with concepting, brand development, and storytelling is essential. This is a client-facing role, so experience in that area is equally essential. The role is varied - one day you might be writing video scripts and creating concepts, and another you might be part of establishing the creative strategy and tone of voice to be used across digital assets.

The role also involves research and development within the relevant markets for the brands, to identify how we can solve their challenges in a way that connects the audience with their vision. You’ll work closely with Art Directors and Video Directors in a collaborative way from concept to execution.

Main Duties:

  • Work confidently with clients (With support from a dedicated client liaison) to digest information and formulate compelling creative responses, concepts, treatments, and scripts.
  • Brand development and tone of voice that feeds into overarching creative strategies.
  • Develop brand film narratives and scripts.
  • Research unique and innovative client markets, sourcing supporting material such as news clips and headlines that give credit to your film scripts.
  • Research client propositions in order to build compelling narratives.
  • Present ideas passionately, both internally and externally.
  • Work with clients and the rest of the studio to generate creative briefs, gather assets and materials, and review final assets against the original concept.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Creative with a focus on copywriting, with experience developing creative concepts and film scripts.
  • Excellent collaboration skills.
  • Diligent note taker and charismatic communicator, with an ability to extract information and ideas from clients effectively.
  • Confident in presenting ideas to clients.
  • 5+ years experience working within a creative environment.
  • Experience in creative copywriting for social first content, and/or brand films is essential.
  • Ability to understand, analyse, and respond to client briefs.
  • Inspiring collaborator, able to work confidently with others to achieve a goal.
