What does a Senior Content Planner do at Hogarth?

The Marketing transformation team work on strategic client opportunities for Hogarth. As part of this team, you’ll lead the content strategy and planning for content opportunities, using social listening, media performance and other data sources to guide clients make effective content to drive their marketing objectives.

Content requirements for clients have grown tremendously over the recent years. Client demands are evolving fast and we are expanding our content production offering to support them in the area of content planning and creation. As part of this we are looking to build the team and with a new content strategist role – specifically to help clients plan and design the right solutions for our clients specific needs. 

Reporting lines and key stakeholders:

This role reports to the Global Head of Marketing Transformation (London).

You will work closely with our content, digital, studio and strategy teams

The Senior Content Planner leads the content strategy discipline and will be responsible for building a planning discipline globally.


  • Creating content plans from strategy to execution
  • Define high level digital and social strategy
  • Analysing content performance through analytics dashboards and social listening tools to derive actionable insights
  • Conducting audits across channels and providing content strategy recommendations that activate key consumer journeys
  • You will have a good data driven understanding of audience needs goals and pain points and shaping insights into strategic opportunities
  • Participate in pitches and new business opportunities providing content strategy and planning expertise
  • Producing content best practice guides, frameworks and toolkits

What you will need:

  • Passionate about content
  • Good presentation and storytelling skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Drive to build a communications planning and strategy discipline globally
  • An understanding of paid, earned and owned media with experience in at least one.
