Senior Content Planner for Virgin Media
Join our Virgin Media Business team as our Senior Content Planner and you will be own and govern the master content strategy, roadmap, messaging and themes within the Virgin media Business Marketing team who are responsible for creating effective, impactful content to deliver against campaign objectives and ROMI targets.
Your responsibilities will be wide ranging, but principally you will be accountable for:
•Development of content overlay to proposition roadmap, working with senior strategy, commercial marketing and product marketing colleagues•Actively shaping digital content strategy, and management thereof to deliver of our core aims and objectives as defined by the Demand Generation function•Ownership of master content roadmap, messaging and themes•Managing content production budgets based on forecast results provided by the Marketing Strategy function, and contributing to the overall ROI evaluations•Supporting our Senior Digital Designer to assemble internal and external resources to deliver on tier 1 campaign briefs, and oversee management of programmatic content•Acting as brand guardian across all assets produced•Advocating the design and build joined-up content journeys for prospects and customers, aligned to the campaign objectives, using marketing automation platforms•Reviewing and sub-editing of all content to ensure relevance to audience, decision-making stage and SEO•Keeping up to date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities of competitor websites•Working alongside our Social Media Manager to create content for the different social media channels.
What are we looking for?
•Demonstrable experience in a busy B2B agency or client-side role, developing digital content strategy, managing multi-channel content campaigns, and delivering world-class content efficiently and cost-effectively•Astute commercial skills, with ability to evaluate ROMI•Proven track record of working with internal and external studio teams•Demonstrable ability in developing copy for multiple digital channels•Working knowledge of HTML and video-editing software would be an advantage•Previous experience of working with content management and marketing automation systems required
