Are you an experienced Brand Manager or Senior Brand Manager looking for the next step up? We are currently recruiting for a Senior Brand Manager who will provide comprehensive support to the assigned brand and implement new communication, designs and new  product  concepts.

The role is based at our Headquarters in Market Drayton, Shropshire 35 minutes from Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury was voted one of the best places to live in the UK in 2019 by The Times).

Your  key responsibilities will be to:

  • Prepare and develop brand plans.
  • Developing brand marketing plans to capitalise on clear opportunities or threats using data analysis.
  • Implements, and monitors assigned brand marketing plans to achieve sales and profit objectives.
  • Developing creative and communications briefs in line with core priorities with Manager.
  • Manage the implementation & delivery of agreed creative executions.
  • Manage budget and expenditure priorities on the brand with brand manager/ABM.
  • Leading and project managing concept development and NPD programmes.
  • Setting the clear brand agenda with the CCM team and running brand commercial meetings for marketing sections.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external agencies to ensure full communication and success of marketing plans.
  • Contribute to creative solutions around brand problems and opportunities.
  • Montior the overall brand performance including profit, external brand consumer metrics and exfactory sales performance to make informed recommendations.
  • Coaching, management and development of an Assistant Brand Manager.
  • Overseeing of NPD management.
  • Responsibility for the 360 management of the brand health – using data analysis and brand expertise to make clear recommendations.

Key skills & experience:

  • Hold a degree level or equivalent qualification (2:1 or above) in relevant discipline.
  • Experience of working in FMCG Marketing at a managerial level.
  • Evidence of Strategic involvement in previous roles.
  • Strong project management skills, to be able to prioritise time and workload and be able to multitask in a pressurised environment.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Capacity to embrace and create change.
  • Proactive and challenging, showing boundless curiosity.
  • Highly self motivated, with a positive can do attitude.
