Our SEO team forms an integral part of the digital marketing team.  We’re looking for a passionate SEO Copywriter who will enjoy working with a suite of SEO and analytics tools as well as Tone of Voice and Style Guide. You’ll identify best practice in the way we communicate with our different customers, whilst collaborating with our SEO team who will be looking at new and innovative ways to drive traffic to our sites. It’s really important to us that you are able to bring a balance of technical SEO expertise and copywriting skills to this role to help us in being the Best Loved Holiday Company.

There are many ways for you to get involved:    

  • You will embrace the TUI Tone of Voice and Style which is carefully crafted to communicate to our customers. You’ll focus on creating content based on SEO research and experiments across the TUI UK, TUI Airways, Marella Cruise and First Choice websites.
  • Using your SEO knowledge, you will be required to create engaging and salient copy to promote travel products across our brands while working within our brand and tone of voice guidelines.
  • Writing, editing, posting and maintaining SEO friendly content across all our websites, proofreading site content and articles.
  • Working in collaboration with our SEO team to ensure our content is consistently improved and enhanced so we can stay in tune with the latest search trends, especially mobile and voice.
  • Interpreting SEO data to test and build potential new content structures.
  • Brainstorming new content ideas, identifying content gaps and removing content duplication.
  • Liaising and building relationships with internal stakeholders and agency partners.

There is more than one way to the perfect fit – here are some of the ideal things:  

  • A good level of experience working as a SEO copywriter or experience of SEO.
  • Familiarity using CMS systems, experience using search data platforms such as SEM Rush or Search metrics with an interest in learning advanced techniques.
  • Excellent grammar and spelling skills for proof-reading.
  • Strong numeracy skills and ability to work with data at scale.
  • Excellent collaboration skills.
  • Ideally, you will have some experience working in an environment which is fast-paced, and deadline driven, with the ability to work both autonomously managing your own workflow and working closely as part of a larger team.
  • Previous experience working within the travel industry and good basic understanding of geography would be beneficial.
  • Curious and analytical mind-set with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
