Job Description Summary:

Reporting into the SEO and Websites Lead, you will also work closely with the Head of Digital Marketing, external SEO agency, wider Marketing team and colleagues in Product to expand the website creating, labelling and publishing distinctive and engaging content, driven by the agreed information architecture and digital insights. Other responsibilities will include writing articles for off-page SEO purposes, producing marketing campaign landing page copy, infographic creation and writing video scripts.
 

Introduction:

Schroders Personal Wealth is a joint venture between Lloyds Banking Group and Schroders – two of the UK’s largest names in banking and asset management. We have an ambition to become one of the UK’s top three personal wealth managers within five years.

In the Digital Marketing Team we’re at the start of our journey to support this ambition and grow the business by acquiring new clients online. We are embarking on an SEO project creating new website information architecture and content designed to educate prospects on the business’s products and services and the advantages of wealth management. This will all be done to increase organic traffic to the website and ultimately new clients.
 

Responsibilities:

Are you an experienced and ambitious writer who has a passion for personal finance and investing, and wants to use your knowledge to educate others? Can you explain how financial issues, such as investment diversification, retirement and inter-generational wealth affect consumers without using industry jargon?

Requirements:

  • Capable of writing cornerstone website copy and thinking of new ideas for educational and top tips articles to be published onsite or with 3rd party publications.
  • A passion for, and understanding of, personal finance issues and investing as well as communicating that passion to others.
  • Ability to identify key relevant points in the industry for a consumer audience.
  • An understanding of SEO and Google’s ranking algorithm.
  • Experienced using a content management system.
  • Experience using Google Analytics.
  • Analytical and able to make data-driven decisions to optimise content and improve KPIs.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Working under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Experience:

  • At least three years producing digital content for a financial services organisation to drive performance.
