ROLE: This role will be working within the Retail department and reporting to the Lead Retail Graphic Designer, the successful candidate will assist the marketing team to find the best solutions to retail project briefs. This role requires the following key responsibilities:

  1. Design of Liverpool FC Retail event, promotional and product material, including:
  • Store POS materials
  • Flyers/PR materials
  • Magazine/programme adverts
  • Billboards
  • In-Stadia adverts
  1. Design & construction of web-based inventory including:
  • Marketing emails
  • Online banners
  • Web pages
  1. Assist in the day to day management of retail marketing team by:
  • Liaising with the Customer Marketing team to prepare inventory for go-live
  • Support international based retailers with design assistance/guidance

PERSON: The successful candidate will have relevant design qualifications. The person will have experience in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (CS5 onwards). They will have excellent design and presentation skills with a creative flair. The person will be an enthusiastic, well organised and flexible person who can maintain a high degree of accuracy whilst working to deadlines. They will also have strong interpersonal skills and will be able to work well unsupervised on their own initiative. The person will be able to work with others and as part of a team. It would be desirable to have relevant commercial graphic design/ web or multimedia design as well as experience with Dreamweaver and Flash (CS5 onwards). It would also be advantageous for the person to have knowledge of the print process, setting up adverts for print as well as preparing adverts for the web and designing copy layout and graphics for print publications.

TEAM: Liverpool FC Retail is a multi-channel operation; our retail team consists of approximately 300 employees increasing during our key trading periods which are kit launches and three seasonal catalogues. Kit launches take place every year.  We have 7 stores located at the Anfield Stadium, Williamson Square, Chester, Belfast, Liverpool One, Birkenhead and Dublin.  Liverpool FC Retail has one of the most comprehensive product ranges in world football; we carry at least a thousand different products at one time, which rise during peak trading.
