This pivotal role is responsible for shaping and delivering the marketing strategies for our flagship retailers, driving our promotional programs and events (Clinique Gift, retailer events).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, development and implementation of our Clinique Gift activity across all retailers.

  • Work closely with Marketing Manager / Director and Global Marketing to develop, innovate and choose GWP program for UK market.

  • Forecast and plan for all GWP requirements for the brand twice a year.

  • Create overarching gift strategy for each season as well as bespoke strategy by retailer.

  • Management of gift for key retailers, and oversee implementation for all other retailers.

  • Manage implementation of relevant retailer gift programs.

  • Lead team in creating all collateral for all retailers.

  • Lead team in creating all CRM material.

  • Lead team in creating social assets for all retailers.

  • Liaise with VM and global for approval on creative and copy.

  • Liaise with retailers and sales team to gain approval for all gifts and marketing support plans.

  • Oversee the Bonus Time master, coop budgets and GWP budget.

  • Prepare in-depth post-campaign analysis for each retailer and overall results tracker.

  • Create and execute marketing programs to support our Flagship store strategy.

  • Create a unique trade marketing calendar for each of our flagship retailers: Selfridges, Brown Thomas, Harrods, John Lewis Oxford St, Debenhams W1 and Boots top doors.

  • Manage implementation of these plans.

  • Work closely with sales team and key contacts at each retailer to understand their upcoming programs and how we can work within their themes.

  • Create and execute engaging marketing events (i.e. illustrator, engraving…) and associated collateral and media support.

  • Develop bespoke collateral for service events and activities.

  • Plan and forecast annual sampling (pick and mix) initiatives.

  • Oversee exclusives strategy, from forecasting to pricing, launching and performance analysis Project manage exclusive launches and activities liaising with the Product Marketing Team.

  • Explore new opportunities to engage with these flagship consumers.

  • Create reporting documents to track, monitor and optimize activities.

  • Work closely with NAM, field and education teams to execute with excellence.

  • Oversee budget management and all associated spend.

  • Create and lead trade marketing initiatives with our retailer partners and corporate (Smile events, Dept Events, Points Events…).

  • Liaise with sales team to understand all retailer events.

  • Project manage additional retailer programmes, building relationship with retailers & ensuring brand identity maintained.

  • Create ASOS trade marketing initiatives.

  • Oversee joint management with PR and social of the development and creation of cultural relevance events, and collateral.

  • Develop retailer specific collateral for key trading periods.

  • Prepare result reporting as well as suggest future suggestions.

  • Oversee sampling management & planning for all key eventing and flagship doors.

  • Oversee all beauty boxes (excluding corporate boxes) to recruit new consumers.



  • Experience in a marketing environment working across trade marketing / promotions and events in an FMCG environment.

  • Creative and enjoys working in fast-paced environment.

  • Must be a self-starter, proactive, flexible and able to handle multitude of projects at one time.

  • Excellent organisational, analytical and computer skills required, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Very strong communication skills..

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • A positive, can-do attitude.

  • Team player.
