This position sits within our Customer, Brand and Communications function; a team who base their work on three key principles; to ensure they are both customer and employee centric at the same time, build simultaneously and harmoniously the three dimensions of the brand reputation i.e. Commercial reputation, Customer Experience reputation and Corporate reputation and align purpose, brand and culture.



This position will manage and oversee all Brand Projects and the Programme. It will work closely with the Brand Director and Programme Manager and will be responsible for preparing the launch of a new brand, across products and geographies and other media and including managing the transition with existing brands. This person will need to ensure that the Brand program plan is aligned with other corporate transformation projects and that the programme and the individual projects align to the Kingfisher Ways of Working.


As Project Manager, this person will work with the Brand Director, Programme Manager and the Head of external communication to manage the program roadmap and detailed program plan, monitor and manage performance against agreed milestones, enabling a successful delivery to timescales, budget, scope and quality.


They will develop a clear and agreed scope of work for each project including clear sign-off and gating process to ensure an aligned delivery with all key stakeholders centrally, with partners and with Markets. Whilst proactively communicating project status to and problem-solve with the Programme Manager, Brand Director and Transformation Portfolio Director; with the proactive management of risks, issues, actions and dependencies and able to leverage leadership teams to unblock and resolve in a timely manner.



We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager, preferably experienced within Brand Marketing / Launching and ideally within a retail environment.

This person will need to be an expert in the development of project plans and associated proactive reporting with demonstrable experience of successful planning at this scale. Experience with centralisation of brand, marketing and communications is advantageous as is local market knowledge/understands the competitive landscape.

This individual will need to have strong presentation and reporting skills and be able to provide timely and concise reports, presentations and updates and be data and commercially savvy with proven budget management experience.

It’s crucial that as the PM this person can establish strong working relationships to ensure effective collaboration and communication and essentially be an ambassador for the team with the ability to bring people and/or competing interests together.
