innocent started with a simple mission: to make drinks that make it easy to do yourself some good. In 1999 we concocted a few smoothies in our kitchen and tested them on people at a music festival; today we’re blending every type of fruit & veg under the sun and selling drinks right across Europe. We have great ambitions: to show the world that you can build a successful business that cares about more than just profit, and to leave things better than we find them. We’re proud to call ourselves Europe’s favourite little healthy drinks company, but we’re still growing. And that means we need more brilliant people who share our ambition, to join in with the next, most exciting, part of our story.

What you'll be doing:

Here at innocent, we want to continue growing at pace and do this in the right way for the planet. We’ve been on a journey over the past couple of years, starting the revolution to our core bits of technology and all of the processes we use with the intention to make sure our business runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible as it grows.

We’re coming to the end of our biggest ever change programme after implementing an ERP and PLM solution and we need some brilliant people to continue the ongoing transformation, to make sure we’re supporting the running of our day to day operation and to ensure we stick to our goals of keeping things simple as our business evolves over the coming years. We’re a small but perfectly formed team of business analysts and solution architects obsessed with doing the right thing for innocent, in the right way and passionate about bringing our key users along with us.

A bit about the role:

We have an opportunity for a Messaging Automation & EDI Project Analyst to join our business operations team, on the finance and supply platform. The role is brand new to innocent, and is a critical one at that, helping us make the most out of our shiny new systems and processes, as well as allowing us to grow the business and stay safe. Working with people from across innocent’s Finance, Supply, Manufacturing, Commercial and Technology teams, you will be getting to the heart of what and how the data needed to run our business is delivered both into, through and out of our business. You’ll also be dusting off your great relationship and communication skills to talk to our external Supply, Manufacturing and Technology partners, as well as our all-important Customers. Like every role, there are also some administrative tasks that help to create the environment where the team can deliver effectively.

As a messaging automation & EDI analyst, you’ll add some valuable business analyst tools to your toolkit by revamping the way in which we communicate to and receive communication from our partners by:

  • Thoroughly analysing and documenting existing EDI processes and transactions – understanding in detail how each works and will work in the future.
  • Gathering information to determine business requirements – working those relationships to make sure we’re doing the right stuff at the right time and managing expectations as such with our key functional stakeholders.
  • Thinking end-to-end about our business to support the project team deliver the right solution, at the right level, to support our future operating model.
  • Building, maintaining, and championing great relationships with our internal and external stakeholders, ensuring people are fully on board with Why we are making changes and clear about what they are required to do.
  • Continually looking to improve ways of working, both in the supply chain but also in the finance and supply platform team.
  • Managing testing and writing robust test scripts.
  • Keeping track of progress, in detail, as we begin to liaise with our external partners and customers.
  • Providing support to the team with reports and data.
  • During early life support after SR drop1 launches, supporting the changes and making sure the correct messages are finding their way to the correct places to enable the business to run.

You'll have:

Any experience in the design, development and testing of IT solutions would be advantageous but not essential at all. We will provide the training for the system specifics, so we are looking for people with:

The smarts – that critical thinking to make good decisions when it counts, process lots of ideas and data (using excel + other tools) to arrive at simple and effective solutions.

An entrepreneurial approach - not waiting to be told, taking action, joining the dots and giving things a go. All while working through setbacks and staying positive when facing challenges.

A growth mindset – to take on feedback, look for opportunities to develop and seeking to understand the why. The ability to see things through to completion and not miss a detail along the way.

Exceptional communication skills – the ability to understand a complex problem and articulate it in a simple way so others can understand it.

Great relationship building skills – the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both within innocent and outside of it.

You'll get:

A chance to be part of the biggest ongoing transformation journey innocent has ever seen, in the team working behind the scenes to deliver some of the key inputs and outputs required to truly transform our business. Learn a whole bunch of new skills, working alongside a great bunch in our core teams, the wider project delivery teams and business operations as a whole, as well as exposure to innocent’s external partners and customers.

As well as the standard stuff you get for turning up for work, we have some great clubs, a free breakfast and as many smoothies as you can shake a stick at.

If you think you have everything we're looking for and more, then we'd love to hear from you. You'll need to get your skates on though, as applications close soon.

Dolly Parton may have worked Nine to Five but you don't have to. We're open to a chat about flexible working. No promises, but we reckon that if it's good for you, then it's good for us.

We're all about building a workplace for the future here at innocent, we believe in equal opportunities and we celebrate diversity. We’re an inclusive workplace, where everyone is welcome, everyone can be natural, and be the best versions of themselves.

You’ll help us to keep doing business the right way – keeping innocent an inclusive and inspiring place to work, using our B Corp status to inspire wider change, and reinforcing our culture of staying little as we grow big.

No agencies please.
