Amazon Studios is the movies and television development and production arm of Amazon. Amazon Studios is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Post Production Coordinator to join the International Scripted Series Post Management team based in London. The Post Production Coordinator will support the Post Production Executive and other Department Heads in overseeing multiple large-scale projects from development through to delivery. This is a fast-paced role that requires extreme organization, collaborative working, and resourcefulness.

In addition to supporting department heads in managing shows, the Post Production Coordinator will also help with company-wide initiatives. We are a fast-growing team and seek candidates who have an innovative mentality and are ready to take initiative in a variety of different projects. Ideally, the candidate will be interested in growing beyond the role through mentorship and training.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Post Executive in day to day running of the department and projects
  • Attending and organizing meetings, including notes taking, and notes distribution.
  • Maintaining general documentation organized and updated
  • Working in close collaboration with our international post management and post operations teams to develop and improve existing processes
  • Keeping internal tracking tools up to date and communicating changes across the organization
  • Assisting in the development of internal tools and databases
  • Having a deep understanding of our Delivery Guidelines, Technical Specifications, and keeping up to date with changes.
  • Supporting the Post Executive in managing projects from development through delivery
  • Tracking all phases of production (pre, production, editorial, sound post, picture post and delivery) in detail across multiple projects
  • Reviewing schedules, budgets, quotes, and post production workflows
  • Maintaining day to day relationship with production partners and vendors
  • Maintaining distribution lists, coordinating dailies and cut reviews, including notes.
  • Onboarding production partners and vendors to projects and documentation.
  • Ensuring projects comply with our content security guidelines
  • Managing delivery of final assets, including paperwork, archival and completion reports

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in coordination, project management, asset operations or post delivery
  • Technical experience on episodic and film workflows

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Conversant in one or more European languages a plus
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience leveraging and improving internal tools
  • Experience with Movie Magic Budgeting a plus
  • Experience organising events in multiple locations
  • Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
  • High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Ability to travel internationally 10-20% of the time
