Are you a visual storyteller, who also happens to be a rockin’ AFX animator and a wizard at Photoshop?  Can you rock a style frame, with maybe a little Cinema 4D thrown in?  NBC News is looking for a multi-skilled motion graphic designer who can help us conceptualize, create, and build new and dynamic ways to communicate visually with our audience, specifically in regards to the 2020 election.  

Job Duties:
· Assist in the design, building, and iteration of various layouts with a focus on hierarchy and consistent visual language.
· Work with the team to ideate, storyboard, and realize data presentation in the form of fullscreen graphics, studio monitor walls, and augmented reality.
· Design and create assets across multiple platforms, including broadcast, digital, and print.
· Maintain an organized file structure, with respect to variations, revisions, and use-cases.
· Work with continued progress on projects with longer deadlines, as well as turn around concepts and revisions on tight deadlines.
· Ability to work nights and weekends when needed.


Basic Qualifications:
· 4+ years of relevant work experience, or a significant portfolio of original work.
· BA or BFA in motion design, graphic design, or a related field.
· Highly proficient in After Effects, Photoshop. Proficient in Illustrator.

· Ability to conceptualize and execute entire projects.
· Exceptional attention to detail.
· Experience with Cinema4D.
